A single harvest, roasted once. No subscription — when the last bag goes, the lot is finished until next season, and next season is a different coffee. Our two house coffees do subscribe.

What this bag funds

This bag funds soil health, biodiversity and forest protection in the place these beans grow. At least 1% of what we make goes to conservation work — starting here, and widening as we do.

The origin

Indonesia

Garut, West Java

Nestled on the slopes of Garut beneath a canopy of Sumatran pine and eucalyptus trees, a thriving agroforestry system is cradled between four active volcanoes. At elevations of 1,500 to 1,600 meters above sea level, Arabica coffee grows slowly in the rich, fertile soil and carefully hand-harvested from the forest by Latif and his local community of regenerative farmers.
